Biracial (white/black) male tired of the same old hairstyle please help?
JoshuaPRAGMATIC asked:
I keep my hair low faded and I’m absolutely tired of it!
It seems like the only hairstyle suggested on here for people with black lineage is braids, designs in their hair, waves. Those don’t appeal to me at all plus it doesn’t look right with my hair texture which is more softer… What do you suggest? I was thinking maybe growing it out into an afro then straightening it out ( not laying down on my face ) into a spikey look but not sharppppp spikes and messing it up with wax or something……….. IDK HELP! THANKS!
p.s. if it helps my style is more toward that of a skater-look

since ur getting tired of da same look wear hair wigs trust me i am indian with short hair that dont grow and i cant braid my hair and do nothing. hair wigs are cute go to a beaut supply store and u can try on hair wigs that fit ur face. i have 5 hair wigs and i get compliments. and u dont have to mess with ur real hair at all.
I think a skater-look would look great on you. You can wear any style you want, it just might take a little more work to achieve.
I like your idea and think it would look great. My daughter is also bi-racial with soft hair. She has worn it long and curly/wavy and has tried a medium (chin length) bob, straightened. Using the flat iron every morning was more work than she wanted, so she’s gone to a cute short look that she usually just leaves curly, but can also straighten for a different look.
oh then i cant help you skaters dont really have a “look” with their hair……real skaters dont..
