Is it true you can get a powder that removes the oiliness from your hair?
milkie asked:
I heard that you can buy a special powder designed for hair that you put in your roots that soaks up oil.
It’s for when the rest of your hair is clean but, e.g. you want to preserve a hairstyle and get rid of the oily roots without washing your hair.
If there is such thing, where can I get it? What is it called?

its baby powder. dont waste ur money on something thats for ur hair. its baby powder. go to walmart.
yes just a regular talc powder that you buy at walmart can absorb the moisture of the oil at the scalp.
Baby powder works well! So does Oscar Blandhi dry shampoo. You can get it at Sephora. But really, anything powder-based will work.
it’s called baking powder. Put it on your roots, then brush through the rest of your hair. Also, to get rid of greasy hair, wash it with beer. (may sound funny!) but it keeps greasiness away for longer than regular shampoo and conditioner. Just wash with beer after shampoo and conditioner.
Baby powder does that. They also have dry shampoo (which is what I think your thinking of) which does the same thing but I’ve only ever seen it in hospitials and hospices.
i just use baby powder and my hair isnt greasy anymore
